Yes, you absolutely can! Skedda is designed to accommodate users who need to access and manage multiple venue accounts, each with its own subdomain, using a single email address. This is particularly useful for organizations with distinct operational needs for different locations.

When to set up multiple Skedda venue accounts

It's best to set up separate Skedda venue accounts if your locations:

  • Are in different time zones.

  • Operate independently in terms of:

    • Administration teams

    • Online payment processing

    • Basic contact details and branding

  • Require distinct sets of booking rules, pricing, or user permissions.

Setting up multiple accounts ensures that each venue can be managed according to its specific requirements without impacting others.

How users can access multiple venues

If a user (using the same email address) is associated with more than one Skedda venue account, they can easily switch between them.

A convenient switcher control is located in the bottom-left navigation bar of the Skedda interface. Clicking this will display a list of all venue accounts associated with their email, allowing for quick and easy navigation between them.

Flexible access levels across venues

A key benefit is that an individual can hold different levels of access for each venue account they are part of. For example, a single user could have:

  • System Admin access on one venue account (e.g., their primary branch).

  • Booking Admin access on another venue account (e.g., a regional hub).

  • Regular User access on yet another venue account (e.g., a facility they occasionally use).

This flexibility ensures that users have the appropriate level of control and visibility for each specific venue they interact with.

Important Note:

Currently, Skedda does not offer centralized multi-venue management. This means:

  • Each venue account operates independently.

  • Settings, user lists (apart from the individual user's access via their email), and financial data are not shared or aggregated across different venue accounts.

  • Administrative actions taken in one venue account (e.g., changing booking policies, managing payments) will only affect that specific venue.

While users can seamlessly switch between their associated venues, the management of each venue remains separate

We hope this clarifies how multiple venue accounts can be utilized effectively within Skedda! If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
