Setting up two-way sync can be a little tricky and, while getting things going, you might encounter an error message/case or two along the way.

Take a look at the links below to see an overview of each message/case and how you can resolve them.
Error cases
Additional cases and notes
Some [Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace] resources were not found during the initial sync
If you're seeing this error, then the issue is that, when we performed a search for at least one of your resources you connected to a space in Skedda, we weren't able to find it anymore.
A likely cause of this is that the resource has been deleted from your [Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace] provider. If you've confirmed that this is the case, please recreate the resource in your provider, remove the relevant resource-space pairing and recreate it in your Skedda settings page.
[Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace] did not allow us to subscribe to some of your [Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace] resources (response was "forbidden")
If you're seeing this error, then the issue is that, while we were able to find your resources, we were forbidden from subscribing to at least one of them during the initial sync process.
A likely cause of this error is that relevant permissions that we require as part of our two-way sync integration with your provider have been revoked. If you've confirmed that this is the case, please grant Skedda any missing permissions, remove the affected space-resource pairs, and recreate them.
Some [Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace] resources could not be found in your [Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace] account
If you're seeing this error, then the issue is that, post the initial sync process, we were unable to find at least one of your resources while attempting to renew our integration's subscription to it (we renew our subscription to your resources periodically).
A likely cause of this is that the resource has been deleted from your [Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace] provider. If you've confirmed that this is the case, please recreate the resource in your provider, remove the relevant resource-space pairing and recreate it in your Skedda settings page.
[Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace] did not allow us to renew our subscriptions to some of your [Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace] resources
If you're seeing this error, then the issue is that, post the initial sync process, we were unable to renew our subscription to at least one of your resources (and it is not because the resource no longer exists).
A likely cause of this is that relevant permissions that we require as part of our two-way sync integration with your provider have been revoked. If you've confirmed that this is the case, please grant Skedda any missing permissions, remove the affected space-resource pairs, and recreate them.
Sorry, we encountered an unknown error during the initial sync
If you're seeing this error, then the issue is that, during the initial sync process, an error occurred that requires further investigation to rectify. Please reach out to our Support Team and we'll work with you to figure the problem out!
Sorry, for some reason there were complications. Best to reload the page, try again and let us know if you continue to see this error.
If you're seeing this error pop up on your screen whenever you've attempted a particular action, it means that we've likely encountered a transient networking error that should not prevent you from retrying whatever action you were taking successfully.
In some rare cases, there are a few atypical responses we can receive from your calendar provider, and this will likely result in you not being able to proceed after refreshing your browser. If this is the case, please reach out to our Support Team and we'll happily assist!
We are busy performing the "initial sync" for resources you've recently paired
This technically isn't an error, and is more a note to let you know that we're still busy with the "initial sync" process for at least one of your space-resource pairs.
Keep an eye on this page and refresh it periodically to monitor our progress (the blue info box will disappear once we're finished).
Our resources aren't showing up in Skedda when we attempt to pair them
When you first connect Skedda to your provider, there is a chance that there will be a delay before these resources appear in Skedda.
This is purely related to the "sync time" on Microsoft / Google's side, and if you revisit this step a few hours later (in our experience, this can take up to 24 hours), you should be able to proceed with a full list of available resources to pair!
We hope that this breakdown assists you in your troubleshooting of any two-way sync error messages/cases you might encounter. Of course, if you're still stuck after taking a look through this list, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Skedda Team for further assistance!
