This article is a supplement to our main article on SSO (please read that first for context).

A full video walkthrough of the setup process is also available below:

Step 1: Add the 'Skedda' app from the 'Applications' page

From the 'Applications' section in your OneLogin Administration page, select 'Add App'.

Then, search for, and select, 'Skedda' in the search bar, as shown in the screenshot below:

Step 2: Add an optional app description, and save your changes

From the 'Configuration' tab that has now appeared, you're able to add an optional description to the Skedda-app that you've now created. Either way, once you're ready to proceed, you can simply click 'Save' to save your changes and proceed with configuration of the Skedda-app.

Step 3: Supply OneLogin with Skedda's 'Relay State' value

In the 'Configuration' tab, in OneLogin, you will need to provide OneLogin with Skedda's 'Relay State' value. This can be copied from your Skedda SSO settings page, as shown in the screenshot below:

You can then paste this 'Relay State' value into the 'RelayState' field in OneLogin's 'Configuration' tab, and save your changes, as shown in the screenshot below:

Step 4: Provide Skedda with your relevant IdP details

From your 'SSO' section, in OneLogin, first set the 'SAML Signature Algorithm' as 'SHA-256', as shown in the screenshot above. Save your change.

Next, copy/download the information, shown in the screenshot below, and paste it into the relevant fields in your Skedda SSO settings page:

The table below shows where you should paste each value from OneLogin, into Skedda.

Value in OneLogin:

Corresponding field in Skedda:

Issuer URL

Identity Provider Entity ID

SAML 2.0 Endpoint (HTTP)

Identity Provider Login URL

X.509 Certificate

Identity Provider Certificate Public Key

When you copy/download your 'X.509 Certificate' for pasting into your Skedda SSO configuration, please note that there may be "wrapping" text in the string exported from OneLogin (similar to "BEGIN HERE" and "END HERE") - this wrapping text should NOT be pasted into the Skedda side (i.e. only paste the "body").

Step 5: Setup complete!

Finally, review the "Users" page, for your Skedda-app, from within OneLogin. From here, you'll be able to make sure that the appropriate users/groups are assigned access to the SSO integration between Skedda and OneLogin, in your organization.

Once that’s completed, you’re all set to begin testing!
