Upfront Bookings

When a user creates a booking for themselves with 'Upfront' payments enabled, they'll receive a booking confirmation email with the booking details and payment information. Here is an example:

You can optionally enable receipts from Stripe too, so they receive both the Skedda confirmation email and the Stripe-specific receipt.  Here is an example of the Stripe receipt:

Book Now, Pay Later Bookings

When a user creates a booking for themselves with 'Book now, Pay later' payments enabled, they'll receive a booking confirmation email with the booking details. Here is an example:

Once the booking is charged by the venue (please see our FAQ on 'How do I charge Book now Pay later bookings' if you're unfamiliar with this step), they will then receive a 'charge' email notification from Skedda, unless Stripe receipts are enabled. The Skedda charge email will purposely be help back (not sent) if Stripe receipts are enabled, to avoid the end user receiving two emails with very similar content.

How to enable receipts in Stripe

To enable receipts in Stripe, click into 'Settings' and onto 'Email receipts' as shown in this screenshot:
